What We Are Looking For! TRANSFER STATION LABORER POSITION SUMMARY Assist the Transfer Station in providing prompt, courteous and complete services for customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESONSIBLITIES Provide excellent customer service to all visitors to the transfer station Responsible for directing traffic and ensuring the safety of all visitors and employees.
Performing physical labor tasks such as lifting and moving heavy objects.
Responsible for basic lawn care tasks such as mowing and trimming grass.
Responsible for litter removal and ensuring that the transfer station is clean and presentable at all times.
MINIMUM QUALIFCATIONS Excellent communication skills and ability to deal professionally with customers, coworkers, drivers, and management Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations Pass drug screen and criminal background check PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to sit for long periods as well as walk for short periods Must be able to bend, stoop, crawl and squat Must be able to work outside for periods of time in all types of weather Must be able to see and hear proficiently Must be able to work in a moderately noisy environment Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs Required to use motor coordination with arm, hand, finger, and leg dexterity Will be exposed to a physical environment, which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements most of the workday EDUCATION High School Diploma or GED equivalent LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS None Company supplies:
Safety boots, uniforms and all PPE.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
