Answer internal and external telephones in a friendly and courteous manner, direct calls through the hotel switchboard, input and retrieve messages from the computer system as requested.
Handle large amounts of cash and credit card transactions in a very detailed and accurate manner.
Process room reservations as necessary.
Arrive on time to each scheduled shift, in proper working uniform, with appropriate equipment, in a friendly, caring frame of mind to assist all guests, management and co-workers.
Check in/out guests by inputting and retrieving information from the computer system.
Promptly answer the telephone within 3 rings.
Act as lobby host, greeting all guests by name with a smile and a welcome.
Requirements:
Customer Service experience in a hotel-type orientation Working knowledge of PC's Excellent mathematical skills Reasoning abilities to think on your feet Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 5 pounds Ability to read, write and communicate in English very clearly Job Type:
