In collaboration with Administration plans, supervises all technical and business operations of the office to include ordering supplies, facilitating written communication with patients and physicians, calls to pharmacies, schedule patients, etc.
Maintains Office in accordance with the standards established by the Hospital, Federal, State, Joint Commission and local standards.
Maintains appropriate paperwork for Official records.
Position provides direct care to patients of all ages.
All functions of the Office are carried out according to the Glen Rose Medical Center's Mission Statement and policies.
The Office Assistant reports directly to the Physician regarding clinical services and to the Clinic Manager regarding business functions.
Educational/Licensure/Training:
Minimum one year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a similar office setting is preferred.
Medical Assistant Training through an educational program may be substituted.
CPR certification required.
Must be knowledgeable of equipment used in pertinent clinical areas.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
