Job Description:
VRC Enterprises Inc.
is seeking a Safety Coordinator to join our team.
The Safety Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the safety of employees and contractors by following policies and procedures, conducting training, and managing safety programs.
The Safety Coordinator will also be responsible for ensuring that the company's facilities are in compliance with all applicable regulations.
Core Responsibilities & Duties:
Knowledge of iSnetworld/Veriforce compliance.
Ensure that all employees and contractors are safe at all times.
Conduct safety training for new employees upon hire.
Ensure that all facilities are safe at all times.
Ensure that all equipment is in compliance with regulations.
Conduct safety audits on new facilities.
Train new employees on how to safely use equipment and conduct inspections.
Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations.
Maintain records of accidents, injuries, accidents involving children, injuries, etc.
and forward these records to the appropriate person or entity.
Assist with employee safety committees when needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills Required:
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and grammar-based writing).
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
Ability to manage time efficiently for multiple projects and create schedules accordingly.
