They will provide support to the MDS Coordinator by preparing and reviewing clinical updates for weekly submissions to insurance companies.
They will also coordinate managed care pre-authorizations for Medicare Admissions in a skilled nursing facility.
They will need considerable knowledge of procedures and practices in an office environment.
Job requirements would consist of clerical skills, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, the ability to keep complex records, assemble and organize data and submit reports in acceptable format and basic computer skills.
They should also have the ability to work without close supervision.
