Licensed Nurse in good standing with state agency.
Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills, leadership qualities, and good communication skills.
Ability to perform work tasks within the physical demand requirements as outlined below.
Genuine care for and interest in elderly and handicapped people.
Ability to comply with the Patient Bill of Rights and the Employee Responsibilities.
Ability to comply with Company and departmental safety policies and procedures.
Perform dressing changes and wound care.
Responsible for monitoring/follow-up of all ulcers and incisions with appropriate documentation and communication to physician and family.
Assess Weekly nutrition/hydration of residents with all ulcers and incisions, evaluate and initiate additional nutritional intake as required.
Monitor lab reports for incidence of infection in assigned wounds.
Evaluate causative factors/problems, solutions and communicate same to nursing staff management.
